The Wonadem UBA Foundation's (WUBAF) 2025/2026
end-of-year mega outreach in the Central Region of Ghana at Breman Asabiem was
filled with excitement, laughter, and a dash of drama, thanks to the women's
football match between WUBAF and the Breman Asabiem community team! 😊 The match was
played on the 31st December, 2025.
WUBAF rocked yellow jerseys, shining like the sun,
while Breman Asabiem donned lemon green, proudly showing off their connection
to Mother Nature - and their determination to win! 🌿😉
The match was a thrilling encounter, with both teams
giving it their all. But what happened next was pure comedy gold! Just as the
game was heating up, the WUBAF goalkeeper got caught up in a sudden rain
shower... and prioritized her hair over the game! 🤣 The community
team took advantage, scoring a goal and taking the lead. The WUBAF team didn't
let that deter them, though, and they fought back with style and determination.
In the end, it was a nail-biting finish, with the
community team emerging victorious. But everyone was a winner, thanks to the
joy and laughter shared on the pitch! 😊
The WUBAF Sports Department deserves a huge shoutout
for organizing this fantastic event and bringing the community together. Their
initiative is a testament to the power of sports in building bridges and
fostering connections.
Kudos to the WUBAF Women's Football Team for showing
us that even when the rain pours, the spirit of the game remains unbroken! 👏
