ove, joy and warm celebrations filled the Global
Evangelical Church Aflao on Saturday, 15th August 2026, as we joined family,
friends and well-wishers to celebrate the marriage of our brother, Mr. Gilbert
Sallah, and his wife.
The wedding ceremony commenced at 12:30 p.m. with
prayers, followed by the exchange of vows and rings as Mr. Gilbert and his wife
were formally joined in holy matrimony.
The celebration continued at the reception, where
guests enjoyed good food, drinks, music and dancing. The atmosphere was lively,
with heartfelt speeches, prayers, champagne popping and the cutting of the
wedding cake, as family and friends came together to celebrate the newlyweds.
A major highlight of the reception was the WUBAF JAMA
performance, which brought an extra touch of energy and excitement to the
celebration. Members came together in a vibrant display of music and dance,
entertaining guests while showcasing the vibrant spirit and unity of the WUBAF
family.
In a gesture of love and support, the Aflao Zone
presented a citation in recognition of Mr. Gilbertâs hard work and dedication,
while the WUBAF Welfare Department also presented the benefits to the newlyweds
on behalf of the Foundation, following Mr. Gilbert Sallahâs qualification for
them.
The WUBAF Catering Department also contributed
significantly to the success of the reception. Some members arrived ahead of
the program to assist with kitchen preparations and organization, helping to
ensure that guests were served efficiently throughout the event.
The service was filled with prayers, heartfelt wishes
and joyful moments as family, friends and WUBAF members celebrated the
newlyweds. Members also joined the couple for group photographs, capturing
memories that will be cherished long after the celebration.
Approximately 30 WUBAF members were present to support
our brother on his special day, further demonstrating the spirit of love, unity
and togetherness that continues to strengthen the Foundation.
The program concluded at 5:30 p.m., with members
departing at approximately 6:00 p.m.
As Mr. Gilbert and his wife begin this new chapter, we
extend our heartfelt congratulations and wish them a marriage filled with love,
peace, understanding, happiness and Godâs abundant blessings.
May their home be strengthened by grace and their
journey together be filled with beautiful memories.
