The end-of-year Mega Outreach organized by the Wonadem
UBA Foundation (WUBAF) took place in the Central Region of Ghana, Breman
Asabiem, to be precise, from December 29, 2025, to January 2, 2026, with the
Theme, Building Bridges Through Love And Service.
The 2025/2026 Mega Outreach, witnessed hundreds of
WUBAF Members from all the Regions across Ghana, including both adults and
kids. The just-ended Outreach focused on showing love to the people of Breman
Asabiem community, through activities and engagement.
The WUBAF advanced team joined the host zone (Central/West)
at Breman Asabiem, on the December 27, 2025 to help prepare the ground for the
Mega Outreach. Preparations like, general cleanup, weeding of the event ground,
painting of the school block, and many more were done, awaiting the arrival of members.
On the December 29, 2025, Wonadem UBA Foundation
members arrived safely at Breman Asabiem, from their various locations. They
were warmly welcomed not only by their own members, but by the whole Asabiem
community.
The Breman Asabiem community received Wonadem UBA
Foundation wholeheartedly with lots of love through their kind gestures towards
WUBAF Members in the form of different kinds of gifts donated freely to
members. Food Items were donated day in, day out, by the people of Breman
Asabiem, some of these, items include, cassava, corn, plantain, oranges,
coconut and many more.
Asked why the whole community decided to gift members
of Wonadem UBA Foundation freely, many of the community members says, it is
their little way of showing gratitude to the Founder and CEO of the Wonadem UBA
Foundation, Edem Edem Michael Forgive UBA Akpeleasi ( SIR UBA ) who happened to
be a good mentor, advisor and someone who has shown them genuine love and care,
during his time as a teacher in the Breman Asabiem community.
This action from the townsfolks confirmed the saying
that " A good turn deserves another "
DAILY
ACTIVITIES
On arrival day, December 29, 2025, WUBAF Members
engaged with the chief of Asabiem, Nana Mbir, His Elders and few people from
the community, as a way of registering their presence in Breman Asabiem. Later
in the evening, WUBAF guys entertained members with an indoor game like,
playing of cards, ludu and oware, among others.
In the early hours between 5:00 Am to 6:45 Am, on
December 30, 2025, the community members of Asabiem, joined WUBAF members for a
little jogging and aerobics exercise to strengthen their muscles to keep fit.
Health talk, health screening, rehearsal of poems, artworks by children
Department, collection of canopies, chairs and tables, eating and dancing
competition and JAMA night, were among the many activities for the day, which
involved both Asabiem and WUBAF members. This showcased deep love and Unity among
both parties, and highlighting one of the missions of Wonadem UBA Foundation,
that is fostering unity among communities.
On the third day of the outreach, December 31 2025,
the Breman Asabiem Youth joined WUBAF members for a health walk and float.
After the long hours of the float, both parties returned and engaged themselves
with some sport activities like, volleyball, lime and spoon, sack race and
football.
On January 1, 2026, cleanup exercise and arrangements
were done to prepare the Durbar ground. Some special dignitaries present at the
Durbar include, Nana Mbir, the chief of
Breman Asabiem, His Elders, the foundation Executives, among others. Meanwhile,
some few dedicated members of Wonadem UBA Foundation, were given awards and
citation, while some items including, educational materials, clothes, shoes,
bags and sanitary pads were shared among the community members. Over 800 people
of Asabiem were fed on the new year day, putting smiles on lots of faces,
showcasing the love, care and comfort embodied by the Wonadem UBA Foundation.
The Foundation, is widely known for not only making a positive impact in the
lives of individuals, but also in community projects, and this the foundation
has exhibited in the just-ended 2025/2026 Mega Outreach at Breman Asabiem,
where a team led by Dr. Seyram Kawor, the General Overseer of WUBAF, raised an
amount of GHS 11,112 to support the community center project in Asabiem.
DEPARTMENTS AND THEIR WORK DURING THE
OUTREACH
Catering Department:
took charge of the food eaten by members including some community members from
December 29, 2025, to January 2, 2026
Health Department:
some members who were down health wise,
were taken care of by the health department, health screening and talks were
done to educate community members on certain health risks and how to take care
of themselves to be healthy always.
Civil Engineering Department: this department made sure there was light
throughout the outreach, to help in performing activities in the night and also
to help members charge their phones.
Children
Department: among the various
outreaches, 2025/2026 Mega Outreach has seen a displayed of natural talents and
skills in the department, through artworks, poems, dancing skills, and many
more.
Logistics Department: took care of the canopies, chairs and tables
collection to help shade people from the sun and kept the place organized.
Security Department: the safety of both members and their
belongings were well taken care of by the security department.
Sanitation Department: cleanliness they say is next to Godliness,
and as such, the sanitation department took this serious in making sure the
environment was well kept throughout the outreach.
Sports Department: all the sporty activities enjoyed at the
outreach, were strategically programmed by the department and well executed.
Education
Department: Education department collaborated with the children Department to
help the children in their rehearsals and learning, during the outreach.
Media Department/IT Department: the outreach wouldn't have been complete
without the Media Team, the media team together with the IT Department, took
coverage of all necessary details and scenes, and made memories from the
December 29, 2025 to January 2 2026.
In the history of Wonadem UBA Foundation's outreaches,
2025/2026 Mega Outreach has been the best Outreach ever attended and enjoyed by
foundation members because, there were lots of fun activities, with community
members fully involved in almost all of the activities, to show their love and
support.
