Wonadem UBA Foundation Joins Family of Elikplim Butsormekpor to Celebrate Baby Christening At A.R.S Edem Parish, Ho

Joy, thanksgiving, and celebration filled the auditorium of the Apostles Revelation Society (A.R.S.) Edem Parish in Ho on Saturday, 23rd August 2026, as family members, friends, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the christening of baby Orion Korku Butsormekpor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Butsormekpor, who are proud members of the WONADEM UBA FOUNDATION (WUBAF).

The sacred ceremony was officiated by RSM Rev. G.D. Gakpetor shortly after the first church service, at approximately 10:20 a.m. It was a beautiful celebration of new life and faith, as baby Orion was officially welcomed into the Christian faith through prayers, songs of praise, and heartfelt thanksgiving to God for the gift of life.

The occasion was more than a family celebration. Members of the A.R.S. Edem Parish, friends, and well-wishers came together to share in the joy of the Butsormekpor family.

Adding a special touch to the occasion was the strong presence of the WONADEM UBA FOUNDATION, whose members turned up in significant numbers to support one of their own and celebrate this important milestone with the family.

Their presence reflected the Foundation's commitment to love, care, unity, and solidarity among its members.

During the program, the Foundation was given the opportunity to introduce itself to the entire congregation of the A.R.S. Edem Parish.

The introduction was led by the Ho Zonal Overseer, Madam Bernice Achea, who took the congregation through the Foundation's mandate, values, and objectives.

She explained that WONADEM UBA FOUNDATION is a humanitarian organization committed to supporting the less privileged and contributing positively to society. She further highlighted the Foundation's commitment to securing the future of the youth by guiding and empowering them to acquire employable skills that can help them build brighter and more sustainable futures.

Addressing the congregation, Madam Achea emphasized the Foundation's belief in love, giving, mutual support, and community service.

“We believe in giving, we believe in love, we believe in supporting one another and contributing positively to society.”

She further explained that membership of the Foundation is open to everyone, regardless of background, tribe, or social status, provided the individual has a genuine desire to give, love, care, and contribute to humanity.

Her message gave the congregation a better understanding of WUBAF's vision, values, objectives, and its commitment to community development and humanitarian service.

The Foundation's spirit of unity and togetherness was clearly demonstrated through the impressive attendance of members from different zones.

Ho Zone — 20 Members

Aflao Zone — 1 Member

Sogakope Zone — 2 Members

Total — 23 Members

The presence of 23 members from three different zones was a strong demonstration of love, solidarity, and the family bond that WONADEM UBA FOUNDATION continues to promote among its members.

The celebration continued beyond the church auditorium. At exactly 12:00 p.m., following the close of the service, members of the WONADEM UBA Foundation gathered for an official group photograph to preserve the memories of the special occasion.

Members subsequently shared light refreshments, interacted, and fellowshipped in a warm and joyful atmosphere.

The gathering provided an opportunity for members to celebrate with the Butsormekpor family while also strengthening the bonds of friendship, brotherhood, and sisterhood within the Foundation.

The christening of baby Orion Korku Butsormekpor was more than a family celebration. It was a beautiful expression of life, faith, love, unity, and community — values that remain at the heart of the WONADEM UBA FOUNDATION.

WONADEM UBA FOUNDATION warmly congratulates the family of Mr. and Mrs. Elikplim Butsormekpor on this joyous occasion.

The Foundation wishes baby Orion Korku Butsormekpor a life filled with God's guidance, protection, wisdom, good health, and abundant blessings as he begins his journey in the Christian faith.
